Certificates and paperwork : Once your licensed pest controller has completed the termite barrier application for your new building or existing home, you will require 2 documents.
1) Will be a sticker in the meter box of the building with relevant treatment details. (issued by the pest control company)
2) Certificates, that certify the treatment has been carried out to the Australian Standards. There are 2 types of certificates :Pre-slab treatments and sub-floor treatments are AS3660.1 or part 1. These treatments are completed during the building stage of the stumps and sub-floor, and the pre pouring of the concrete if the house is on a slab. (as shown above) The second certificate is AS3660.1-2 or part2. This certificate relates to the final spray treatment to a house. If the house is on a slab or stumps, it will be a perimeter spray treatment around the outside of the building.
